Letter from J. W. Tyson, Second Assistant Postmaster General, to James Dellet in Washington, D.C.

In the letter Tyson appoints Wiley Fort postmaster at White Hall, Alabama, replacing Richard Wooten. At the time the letter was written, Dellet was serving in the United States House of Representatives; he served there from 1839 to 1841 and from 1843 to 1845.
