Bills of sale for enslaved people, most of whom were purchased by John P. Blackmon of Georgia.
Also included are certificates of importation and exportation for individuals purchased in North Carolina but taken to Georgia, most of whom are represented in the bills of sale. (Though Blackmon lived Georgia, his children later settled in Macon and Bullock Counties in Alabama.)
