Documents related to the resignation of Captain Charles T. Harlbert of Company B, 1st Battalion, Alabama National Guard (also known as the Gilmer Rifles).
Included here are a letter from Harlbert requesting discharge from military service, as well as the Adjutant General's special orders accepting his resignation. Harlbert had first enlisted in 1884.
