Oaths of enlistment for members of the Capital City Guards of Montgomery, Alabama, an African American company of the Alabama State Troops.
At the time of these oaths, the Guards were part of the 2nd Regiment of the Alabama State Troops, and they were later Company A of the 1st Battalion Colored Infantry, Alabama National Guard.
