Diary kept by Eliza Fielding from January 1866 to June 1867, documenting her domestic and social life near Athens, Alabama.

In the diary, she discusses relationships; domestic duties (such as sewing and weaving); visitors to her home; religious camp meetings and other activities. Her writings provide a glimpse into the domestic and social world of a young nineteenth-century woman. A transcription is included.
