Description
Summary:She is holding a sign that reads, "Let the Teachers Educate / Let Policeman Protect & Serve / Let Children Be Safe / Put Commonsense Gun Laws into Place." Tabitha Isner and Audri Scott Williams are standing on the left; the two women were competing against one another in the Democratic primary for the U.S. House of Representatives, District 2. The main March for Our Lives event, which took place in Washington D.C. on March 24, 2018, was organized by students who survived the deadly shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. Smaller marches were held around the world, including seven in cities around Alabama. In Dothan, demonstrators marched from Porter Park to Kinney Park.
