Description
Summary:Several people are holding American and Alabama state flags, and the following signs are visible: "Judges Cannot Define Marriage / God Decides" and "I don't follow your Religion and you can't Make Me!" At the rally, which was hosted by Sanctity of Marriage Alabama, counter-demonstrators interacted peacefully with participants. From the event's Facebook page: "Join believers from across Alabama at the Alabama State Capitol on June 6th at 3:00 pm, to send a united message to elected officials, the Supreme Court and the world: Alabama is for Marriage. As the U.S. Supreme Court prepares to rule on marriage in June, you have a duty to speak up while the very nature of marriage is being threatened. Devotion to Christ, love for your country and concern for your children demand immediate action."
