description They are holding signs that read, "'If the world hate you, know that it hated me before it hated you' John 15:18" and "Please Do Not Pet or Feed the Gays." (The rally was initially set to take place at the civic center, too, and many of the counter-protestors reassembled outside the church later in the afternoon.)
