Description
Summary:A couple of people are holding Alabama state flags, and others are holding signs that read, "We Cannot Keep Silent"; "Jesus Died for Your Sin!!"; "Our Rights Come from God Not from Government"; and "Yes We All Have a Choice / Don't Make Mine for Me!" The event, hosted by Sanctity of Marriage Alabama, was organized after the state began issuing same-sex marriage licenses on February 9, 2015. (From SOMA's Facebook page: "We stand with God's Word and the law of our land for marriage as defined by God - union between one man and one woman.") Members of the League of the South, a neo-Confederate group based in Killen, Alabama, were among the participants.
