Sidney Cherry Posey.
Posey was a member of the Alabama House of Representatives from 1835 to 1836 and from 1861 to 1862; he served in the Alabama Senate from 1837 to 1838 and from 1844 to 1845. He was a delegate to the constitutional convention of 1861 (also known as the Secession Convention).
