Photographs documenting housing discrimination in Lackawanna, New York, and the involvement of the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund (LDF) in the legal case of Kennedy Parks Home Association v. City of Lackawanna, New York.
These photographs were taken by Jim Peppler on behalf of the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund (LDF). Some of the images were used in the brochure "Homes for Blacks." Peppler worked as a photographer for the LDF from about 1966 to 1985.
