Nave of St. John's-in-the-Prairies Episcopal Church in Forkland, Alabama.
Looking southeast toward the altar. The church was built in 1860 and 1861; it was moved to Forkland in 1878. The structure was patterned after Richard Upjohn's scheme for a wooden chapel in RURAL ARCHITECTURE (1852). [AHC number GR-0003]
