"The tree that owns itself."
"This giant oak tree in Eufaula, Alabama, owns itself, being deeded to itself by the City of Eufaula on April 8, 1936. It is known as the Post Oak Tree, but was christened the Walker Oak on May 1, 1936. A dedication ceremony was held when the tree became its own property."
