Plaque on the McDowell Bridge on the Chattahoochee River in Eufaula, Alabama.
The bridge, which was constructed in 1925, was a joint project of Alabama and Georgia. It was named after Charles McDowell, who was lieutenant governor of Alabama from 1923 to 1927.
