Judge John D. Phelan.
Phelan served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 1834 to 1836 and from 1839 to 1840. He was the attorney general of Alabama from 1836 to 1836, and he was an associate justice of the Alabama Supreme Court from 1852 to about 1856 and from 1864 to 1865 .
