Grain elevator and flour mill in Decatur, Alabama, on the Tennessee River.

The structures were "built directly as a result of the improvement of the Tennessee River channel by the construction of TVA dams, for it opened the way to economical waterway shipment of grain from the Midwest. Two big grain barges are moored for unloading."
