Robert Eugene Steiner.
Steiner was a member of the Alabama House of Representatives from 1886 to 1887 and of the Alabama Senate from 1892 to 1893. During World War I, he served as brigadier general of the 62nd Infantry Brigade, 31st Division, of the American Expeditionary Forces.
