Chauncey M. Sparks.
Sparks was a judge of the inferior court of Barbour County, Alabama from 1911 to 1915, and he was a member of the Alabama House of Representatives from 1919 to 1923 and from 1931 to 1939. He served as governor of Alabama from 1943 to 1947.
