Quilt made by Lureca Outland in the Family and Community Traditions: Afro-American Quilting exhibit at the Alabama Artists Gallery in Montgomery, Alabama.
Mary Maxtion assisted Outland in the making of this quilt. Both women lived in Boligee, Alabama. The gallery was located in the Klein Building at 1 Dexter Avenue, with the offices of the Alabama State Council on the Arts.
