Deputies escorting Anthony Ray Hinton to the courtroom during his capital murder trial in Birmingham, Alabama.

Hinton was arrested for the robbery of Quincey's Family Steakhouse in Bessemer and was later charged with capital murder during two other robberies at fast food restaurants in Jefferson County. After spending 30 years on death row, Hinton was exonerated and released in 2015.
