Miss Baker at the Naval Aerospace Medical Center in Pensacola, Florida.
In 1959 Miss Baker, a Peruvian squirrel monkey, was one of the first two animals successfully launched into and returned from space by NASA. She was moved to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville in 1971, where she lived until her death in 1984.
