John Kassab, a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel who flew a B-24 bomber over Normandy, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany during World War.
He is holding a photograph of the plane he flew during the war. Kassab, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, was interviewed in conjunction with the upcoming display of two World War II-era bombers (a B-24J Liberator and a B-17G Flying Fortress) at the Mobile airport on March 31.
