Eleanor, who thinks winning is "simply wonderful" is state recreational leader of FHA. / 2 and 3 - Eleanor studying - she plans to go to Huntingdon and major in elementary education, thinks being selected Alabama's Junior Miss is "good experience." / 4, 5 and 6 - shooting at a goal - basketball that is. Said, "Whether I win U.S.A. Junior Miss doesn't really matter. I feel that the experience means I'm still a winner." She is very unassuming, sweet. / 8 - fixing mother's hair, another hobby - accomplished beautician. Has own dryer, etc. / 9 - with mother and father Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Warr. Has a brother, Walter C., 32, who is with Texas Game and Fish Commission, in San Angelo, Texas. / 10 - another hobby, horseback riding, has own horse, rides often. Shown with horse in backyard of home. / 7 - in front of home in downtown Clayton. / 11 - family shot again, looking at newspaper accounts of winning. / 12 - Eleanor's "I Can't Say No" rendition from the musical Oklahoma - which she did in contest. Her mother made the outfit, and she composed dance routine herself. / [Work order included] |
