Whitewater lake in background. / Old toll house at gate to Camp Alabama, boys sleep upstairs in dorm. / Buddie Hale, director Camp Alabama. / Sign at road east of Autaugaville which directs visitors to Alabama's newest private camping facility / Roy Jones, 12, Fort Rucker, comes in for a point-four landing from the Junior Jump Tower on Division Parade Field at the Army Aviation Center, Fort Rucker, during Armed Forces Day observance, Saturday. Assisting Roy is [--] Billie Smith. Roy is the sun of Mayor and Mrs. Roy C. Jones, Fort Rucker. The program for Armed Forces Day observances included flyovers, a concert by the 98th U.S. Army Band, Bozo the Clown, skydivers, open house, and many other things for visitors to see. By far the favorite of the youngsters though was the Junior Jump Tower, where Fort Rucker personnel assisted boys in taking a simulated parachute jump. / [Work orders included]
