Mobile aid stations set up to assist residents of Guin, Alabama, after a tornado struck the city on April 3, 1974.

A Salvation Army "emergency service" vehicle is on the right. The tornado was reported to be not only the most severe in the United States in 1974, but also one of the worst on record.
