Meador Jr., a summer resident at Battles Wharf, was expecting a jubilee last night, and he was not disappointed. He was out floundering during the early morning hours when thousands of fish began swimming shoreward. He is shown above with the more than 300 flounders he gigged within two hours. Catches of sea food were reported from Montrose to Mullet Point."
