Description
Summary:Mobile police station / "Operation Eradication is a project designed to help fight crime in our neighborhoods. Many from the community have expressed a desire to have a police substation in their respective neighborhoods. The call was so great we could not possibly meet the demands. One means of addressing their concerns was to implement a mobile police station. The mobile station is a 34-foot trailer that has been converted to be totally self sufficient. Operation Eradication will be headed up by Captains Julius Walker and R. L. Webb. Operation Eradication is a joint effort with the mayor, the city council, and other city departments such as the fire department, street and sanitation department, and others." / [Press release included]
