Interior at the Anniston Chemical Agent Disposal Facility in Anniston, Alabama.
From 2003 to 2011, the U.S. Army used the incinerator facility to dispose of the chemical weapons stockpile at the Anniston Army Depot. Though most of the structure was dismantled afterward, the Static Detonation Chamber was retained for use on chemical weapons from Kentucky and Colorado.
