Leo Ogorek (left top), and Jimmy Adair were on hand Monday to battle it out for the keystone position. Both are class men and old friends of the American Association. Gilbert Hill (lower left) and Eddie Martin, are two of the rookies who are battling for starting berths. Hill is a rookie outfielder from South Carolina and Martin is a rookie catcher, who hit over .300 year before last in the Pennsylvania State League." |
