Trussville special section / Trussville pictures / I need the following pictures for the Trussville Special Section: / 1. Picture of the library (get shot inside of librarian Janet Lyons and then get some pictures of displays of puppets and such at the library. / 2. Picture of fire department equipment, fire association president John McMunn will meet you at city hall at 11 a.m. Monday / 3. Picture of police chief Nash and some of the police equipment. / 4. Get some shots of the businesses in town, both large industries and small businesses. / Bell Industry turn beside [Bama] Drive-In / Annex - down Highway 11 out of city limits. / 5. Go to some of the new building developments (Tutwiler Farm on Highway 11 is one. There's another not he other side of the railroad tracks that is on a private lake) and get some pictures of new housing. / 6. Go to the three schools - Hewitt Elementary, Hewitt - Trussville Junior High and Hewitt - Trussville High School and get some pictures there. See the principals. They will help you. The high school principal in particular had some good ideas. / 7. There are a couple of old cemeteries in town, one across from the Presbyterian Church on Highway 11, the other . . . / 8. Take some general shots around city hall, city clerk, council chambers, that sort of thing. / 9. There are a number of parks around the town, one right by the library, get some shots there. / 10. While you are at the library, get a picture of the collection of newsletters called the Cahaba Hub. / Across from churches / 11. On North Chalkville Road, there is the site of the old elementary school. On the ground there is the stone with the school's name which was over the door when the school burned, see if you can get that picture. / 12. Need a picture of the churches. Most of them are on Church Street. The Presbyterian . . . Interior and exterior shots of home of Mary Elizabeth Wheeler at 10:30 a.m. She lives at 401 Main Street. No - lives alone does not want [--] / Note about cemeteries In the cemetery across from city hall is a large magnolia tree. It is supposed to be one of the oldest in the United States. It has been uprooted some of the surrounding graves as it grew. Need a shot of it. / 15.
