Benjamin Franklin Cox leaving the county courthouse in Mobile, Alabama, after his conviction for the lynching of Michael Donald.
Donald was murdered by Ku Klux Klan members on March 20, 1981, and his body was hanged from a tree on Herndon Avenue in Mobile. Cox provided a pistol and rope that were used in the attack and hanging.
