Civil rights demonstrators lying and sleeping on the ground in the George Washington Carver Homes neighborhood of Selma, Alabama.

The exact date is unknown, but the image is related to either the Selma demonstrations or the Selma to Montgomery March. It was found in a sleeve of negatives by Spider Martin from Marion, Alabama, in February 1965, but it was likely misfiled.
