Smith, Jabez N. Letters (1862-1865)
These are Smith’s letters posted at Camp Nelson, Ky., as his regiment moved to Atlanta, and from North Carolina, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Smith describes military life and hardships. Smith served as a private in Co. I, 35th Massachusetts Infantry during the Civil War.
