Description
Summary:In the letter Abramson discusses his work with Tallulah on the film WHEN MEN BETRAY: "It was a real pleasure I assure you to work with you, and now that it is all over I can quite realize that our little spats were not meant at all. There is no doubt in my mind that there is a great future before you if you can bring yourself to that point where you will be able to concentrate your thoughts upon your work and your work alone." He gently reprimands her for her defiant behavior during filming, and he encourages her to be more cooperative with future directors: "Do you remember how earnestly in our first conversation you promised to obey all directions? Whether that promise was kept I leave to you to judge. I am not saying this in an unkind spirit, but only because I want to see you meet with the success that you can achieve if you will be obedient to directorial instructions."
